factor10 helped me evolve my view of software quality to what it is today. Where I see quality as how tangible the software is. For example, how easy and harmless it is for me to make changes to the code.

Into the wild! I go for a walk with my dog. Or maybe, if the weather allows, I go sailing or flying.

I once had a client who said they believed that automated testing is a good practice, but it was just not possible with their code. Half a year after working together the same person came to me and said they were wrong before. These days they cover their code with automatic tests and are able to go faster.

We never argue about “company politics” or focus on trifles when there is a job to be done. Everyone at factor10 is good at focusing on what is the most important thing right now.

Raniz is one of the most effective “doers” I have ever met. While I’m still reading the documentation he is already working on his second feature.
